Art from the streets of London
Esta soy yo! Tengo 20 años y actualmente estudio Bio Ciencias Veterinarias Equinas en la Universidad. Los padres de mi madre son de Chile, pero yo nací en el Reino Unido y he vivido la mayor parte de mi vida aquí.
This is me! I am 20 years old and I am currently studying Equine Veterinary Bioscience in Uni. My mothers parents are from Chile, but I was born in the UK and have lived most if my life here.
Siempre me ha gustado mirar el arte callejero de Londres porque por medio del anonimato del artista siento que la obra de arte en sí misma es capaz de relacionarse con un público más amplio y muestra la mente creativa de muchas personas diferentes en Londres.
Los que se muestran son solo algunos de mis favoritos. Uno fue tomado en Peckham, y los otros tres los tomé mientras estaba en Croydon.
I have always loved look at the street art around London as though the anonymity of the artist I feel like the art work itself is able to relate to a wider audience, and it shows the creative mind of many different individuals in London.
The shown are only a couple of my favourites. One was taken in Peckham, and the other three I took them whilst in Croydon.
Me gusta el arte callejero ya que si bien el artista pudo haber tenido un mensaje específico que quería transmitir a la gente que lo veía, lo deja abierto para que los demás lo interpreten a su manera. Muestra que, aunque todos podemos estar mirando la misma imagen, cada uno de nosotros ve algo diferente (aunque solo sea un poco) y tomamos los mensajes que queramos de esa imagen, ya sea positivo o negativo.
I like street art as although the artist may have had a specific message that they wanted to convey to the people seeing it, they leave it open to be interpreted by others in their own way. It shows that although we all may be looking at the same image, we each seen something different (if only slightly), and take whatever messages we want from that image whether that be positive or negative.
